Next on the guest list for the royal wedding? Sir Paul McCartney. The legendary rocker has reportedly been tapped to perform at the springtime nuptials, reports Spinner.com.Prince William reportedly approached the former Beatle and asked him to perform at the wedding reception. Sir Paul was asked to perform several songs, none of which have been disclosed yet.
In related news, Metro reports that the band Kings of Leon would also be thrilled to perform at the royal wedding. The drummer, Nathan Followill, recently told the U.K.'s Sun that while he likes "Wills and Kate," he favored Prince Harry.
"Wills and Kate look like nice people. But Harry is the dude. His is the wedding we would most likely play," Nathan Followill says. The band had the chance to meet Prince Harry while they were backstage for a concert at London's O2 arena.
